Thank you so much everyone for your comments regarding my sidebar. I reduced the width by a measly 7pixsles like Lil Liberal suggested. I do not know if that was enough to do the trick, but I am going to keep working on it. I do not understand what exactly changed when I switched templates. Are not the side bar widths the same on both? Should I try abbreviating the links with longer titles? I am loath to do so. I am not a fan of abbreviations. Moving on. Sonny has not exactly started babbling yet, but he is one hell of a grunter. He had a twenty minuet grunting conversation with Monkey here while I folded clothes. Good for me; good for Monkey. He has quickly become Sonny’s new best friend.
Life at our house is still all about beating the heat. We are not doing so well with it. Sunday the heat became unbearable when the temperature climbed up to 92 degrees inside our house. We all took showers and headed out to get dinner and some AC at a restaurant. On the way we stopped at Loews to buy an oscillating fan. Once we pulled up to the store we saw a large hand-written sign out front that read “WE ARE COMPLETELLY SOLD OUT OF ALL AIR CONDITIONERS, FANS, AND MISTERS.” Crap. We did not bother checking at Walmart across the street.
It’s 89 degrees inside right now…but God willing it will not get any hotter. It is five o’clock pm, so I have hope. Sadly, the heat is messing with my creativity. I do not feel like writing, reading, or anything other than standing in a cool shower, which is next on my agenda. I do not have to SWEAT dinner tonight as I have already prepared a fine crock-pot dish. Too bad it is a soup. This is not exactly soup weather. Oh well. Maybe I can convince Smoochy to take us out for ice cream after dinner!

I cannot believe how hot it has been out there. I hope you get some relief soon. Good luck on fixing your sidebar. If you need any help, let me know ok?
Serves you right for moving so damn far away. A/C still works fine here in Ga.

What Charlie didn't tell you is the A/C in the house in FL is shot and at 95 degrees last week when we planned to stay, he thought better of it and we went back to GA. (Sorry, Charlie!) Yes, the A/C does work in GA and I do feel for you, especially with the baby. Onto the grunting...you had me laughing because all I could think of was that when my kids would grunt, they were filling their diapers!

Poor babies in that miserable heat! No a/c? Are West Coasters neanderthals? Who ever heard of such a thing!
As for din din.....try some fresh, easy salads. So good for Summertime weather. I've got some great recipe ideas, I'll email them to you....you know with 2 kids and a job I don't have much time for cooking and salad is the way to go for losing the baby weight!
Ok, I'm rambling...lack of sleep has sucked my willpower to think.
He's grown so much, love those grunts.... He's soo sweet, miss you guys. Guess we left in the nick of time, sorry you guys are so miserable with the heat. Love the pictures. Love, Tracy

YOu poor guys!! I absolutely hate the heat and become quite grouchy when I have to sweat! Who can believe how hot it is? Heck, it is hot here too! Luckily we have A/C. I will be thinking about you as I relax in comfort!!! :0) Sorry, I don't mean to be mean!

regarding the sidebar... it still isn't showing up properly on my computer (I use explorer).
I can't believe how hot it's been. Maybe when the stores re-stock on air conditioners/fans you guys can buy one for next summer!
