Everyone Loves Pizza

OK, so here's proof that I don't always provide my family with nutritious meals. But, everyone deserves a pizza night now and then, right? Plus, these pictures are worth every empty calorie. I'm so glad Norm has a couple of teeth (4 molars!) at last. We had to cut things up for him for the longest time. But look at him go now!  What was even better: I gave him his own napkin and he used it on his hands and face every couple of bites. He was just cracking me up. He ate TWO pieces of pizza, including the crusts! He didn't eat the pepperoni, though. He picked it off. Just like his daddy does!

Saturday Morning Cartoons

Thank goodness we finally got bunny ears. Jack and PBS make great baby sitters. Just in time for new baby. Can't you just see all of us curled up on this bed. New baby will nurse; I will main-line coffee; and Normy will enjoy his Cheerios and OJ.  Ahh a little slice of heaven!

Snowed In

OK, there are only a couple of inches on the ground and it stopped snowing hours ago... but it's still enough to keep this Florida driver homebound. I can hear sirens wailing outside right this very second and I wouldn't be surprised if the emergency was a icy crash. Bad for my errands, good for the blog.

So, why haven't I been blogging lately? Well, for one because I've been knitting! I can't tell you how grateful I am that my Aunt Em taught me... I've been a knitting fool ever since! Here's some of what I've created...

A scarf I knitted for Smoochy (I really wish this weren't so blurry!)

A little something for Tracy

My current project: a sleeper sack for New Baby!

I've also knitted Smoochy a black wool watch cap and a blanket. I'm very proud of the watch cap. I ribbed for about six inches which was quite the accomplishment! But, the baby blanket is awful. Smooch has the hat so I can't post a picture, and I don't even want to show you the blanket... although it was made with some very lovely yarn from Normy's Aunt Cathy. My handiwork just leaves a little to be desired!

So other than knitting I've been totally nesting. I cant believe how freaked out I am by clutter and dirt. Of course cleaning while chasing after Norm The Tornado is a futile endeavor. He makes messes faster than I can clean them. I spend an hour vacuuming and dusting the living room all the while he is grinding Cheerios in to the dining room floor and pulling things out of drawers in the kitchen. It's like we move in giant circles around the house.  My construction his deconstruction...

I did take a break form the chaos to snap some pictures of us this morning... here you go Grandmas and Grandpas...

"Mom! It's Freezing! Where are my clothes!!!"

"Oh man, I want to go out and play..."

Ahh, he does love me!

"Belly!"

This is probably my favorite picture, ever.

Since she won't post I will

Man... Hope everyone had happy holidays. I'm glad it's over. It's always fun but nice to get back to normal. Which is funny because our normal is pretty chaotic. I guess it's at least controlled chaos. Anyway here are some pics of Norm from his lately time zone travels. Okay maybe not so many time zones since she lost the camera right before xmas and didn't conveniently find it until after...
