So, why haven't I been blogging lately? Well, for one because I've been knitting! I can't tell you how grateful I am that my Aunt Em taught me... I've been a knitting fool ever since! Here's some of what I've created...
A scarf I knitted for Smoochy (I really wish this weren't so blurry!)

A little something for Tracy
My current project: a sleeper sack for New Baby!
I've also knitted Smoochy a black wool watch cap and a blanket. I'm very proud of the watch cap. I ribbed for about six inches which was quite the accomplishment! But, the baby blanket is awful. Smooch has the hat so I can't post a picture, and I don't even want to show you the blanket... although it was made with some very lovely yarn from Normy's Aunt Cathy. My handiwork just leaves a little to be desired!
So other than knitting I've been totally nesting. I cant believe how freaked out I am by clutter and dirt. Of course cleaning while chasing after Norm The Tornado is a futile endeavor. He makes messes faster than I can clean them. I spend an hour vacuuming and dusting the living room all the while he is grinding Cheerios in to the dining room floor and pulling things out of drawers in the kitchen. It's like we move in giant circles around the house. My construction his deconstruction...
I did take a break form the chaos to snap some pictures of us this morning... here you go Grandmas and Grandpas...
"Mom! It's Freezing! Where are my clothes!!!"
"Oh man, I want to go out and play..."
Ahh, he does love me!
"Belly!"
This is probably my favorite picture, ever.

That is such a gorgeous photo!! Glad you guys are all ok. Not too much longer to go until that lil baby is here huh? How exciting!
Thank you for these pictures.
Awesome pics, and YAY for knitting! I recently learned to crochet and dang, is that addictive!
oh no! poor knitting :( i got halfway through my blanket and i haven't touched it since!
Does Norm have big boy underwear on? Thanks for the pictures. Love you all. Grpa and Grma W.
No, Normy hasn't exactly started potty training just yet. He's wearing his cloth diapers.
Look at that belly!! I can't believe baby #2 will be here soon...so exciting!
I know what you mean about cleaning in circles. I've finally realized it's futile. I do a pick up twice a day and save the vacuuming for after bedtime. Otherwise I get so frustrated that everything I just cleaned is once again in shambles. Oh well...that's the price you pay!
I hope my children look back on today,
And see a mother who had time to play.
There will be years for cleaning and cooking,
For children grow up while we're not looking.
Love, Mom
