I'm HAPPY that these leg warmers are off the needles and on her legs.
I'm SAD that the stretchy bind-off I used was WAT TOO STRETCHY and Lola doesn't seem to like them. (Really she could care less about what's on her legs. She is miserable because of what's going on with her teeth!)
**********************************************************************************
I'm HAPPY that Lola is big enough to bathe with Norm and Georgia... (sure saves time, trouble, and water!)
But, SAD that she's growing up so fast. I swear each child grows faster than the one before.
**********************************************************************************
I'm HAPPY that my parents are so cool and recored books on CD so that they can "read" to my children every day. I am even more HAPPY that my children love this and ask for the Papa and Grandma books.
I am SAD that they we live so far apart that Papa and Grandma can't read them stories in person more often.
**********************************************************************************
I am HAPPY my Georgia loves to eat peas.
That's all, just happy. Who could complain about a kid who asks for peas before the sun has even risen?
**********************************************************************************
I was however, SAD that our balcony is rotting and had to be taken down. (Hopefully to be replaced soon.)

I am HAPPY that Smoochy has taken a chainsaw to a few trees in order to carve out a little place for us to play and to garden.
But, I am SAD that he also took the chainsaw to his leg. My mending basket is full enough thankyouverymuch. (His leg only sustained a minor flesh-wound. Nothing a bottle of rubbing alcohol and a bandana for a tourniquet couldn't cure. Seriously, whatever man-points he lost slicing his leg he made up for when he dumped rubbing alcohol on the cut. )
So, that's life here. What's Happy/Sad for you today?

I have a sad little teething baby too. She also has an ear infection that we can't seem to kick. But she is so, so sweet and cuddly and just nursed herself to sleep. love that.
I'm happy to read your post and see your beautiful babes. I'm SAD that I too have a teething baby but, HAPPY that she is taking the first long nap in weeks!
Aunt Mary Beth says, "Jacob is SO lucky." They bought Brian a pair of chaps to wear when he is using the chainsaw. LOVE the towel picture..I will have that on my wall ASAP! I am so glad she (they) like the taped voices!!!
Happy- the 5m old boy i babysit fell asleep in my arms while rocking, like aways (but probably one of the greatest joys in life)
Sad- i have yet to do a "Just War" paper for my Religion class due tomorrow (thats probably going to be one sided, just so i know i'll get the "A". how frustrating is that?)
Happy- im almost done with highschool(soaking up every min) and how i got asked to prom! ;)
Sad- I miss some of my family- you all plus Pat and others.
Happy- I got a new job waitressing.
Happy- I am very content and happy with my life... at the moment ;)
*Ignore the GossipCat... this is AuntB!
I am sad that Moses has an ear infection and sinus infection. He is miserable. I am happy that Lucas had a visit from the leperchauns today at preschool! I am also happy that I finally have my freezer in my garage. This weekend I will begin my chicken stock storing and tomato sauce making. I LOVE cooking!!!
Let's see....I'm happy I am pregnant and growing a beautiful new baby to love and bring our blended family together. I am sad that this pregnancy has made me so sick and physically miserable. I am happy that my husband is so wonderful and patient but I'm sad that its hard for me to see that right now and I treat him like crap most of the time. I'm happy for some (slightly) warmer weather but im sad that with it comes pollen and springtime colds.
Love all you ladies. Thanks for sharing. And what the heck is up w/ all these teething babes?!?!
Becca,
Caroline is teething big ole molars on the bottom row, but lucky for me keeping in good spirits. Great grandma Sommer said that if you can see that the gums are white with pressure to take a thimble and rub it across their gums to help the tooth break through and relieve the pressure...... use that bit of advice/disregard it.... I've never done it, but it makes some sense. LOL. And holy cow about Jacob's leg. Wow. If he just flushed it out with water really well that probably would have been okay- oh the burn! lol. HAPPY Friday!! Want to see you guys again soon!! Maybe we can come visit and go to the zoo together or something....
I'm HAPPY that I finished Caroline's knit funny bunny.
I'm SAD my spring break is almost over.
I'm SAD I can't focus as much time on my jewelry
I'm HAPPY our back deck area is finally becoming the outdoor space we've dreamed of.
I'm HAPPY to be HAPPY about most things!! ;-)
