Happy New Year, Sabrina! Table presents are an OLD family tradition (like my great-great grand parents old). The last presents of Christmas are wrapped and stacked as a centerpiece for the dinner table with a string and name tag attached. The strings are tangled so no one know whose present is which. On the count of three the strings are pulled and hilarity ensues. :-)
