Mrs. Smoochy will soon again take the reigns of A Day in the Life of Smoochy. She's working up to posting. For all of you who took the journey with us, thank you. I have talked to numerous people who commented that they were just wiped out after the two day ordeal. Even though they were just participating through the blog. In any event, all of your messages and kind words of encouragement were a blessing to us. They kept me motivated. Alright, i'm off to go play with my kid.

He's absolutely beautiful!!!!!
I've been checking in all day for new pictures....finally!!! Thank you Jacob! I'll probably call tomorrow if that's ok with all.
Congratulations guys....what an amazing story to tell him someday.
He is gorgeous! And thankyou for letting us share in this experience with you. I will never forget it:)
He's beautiful! I think I said the Hail Mary about 100 times last night, right as he was being born. I started saying it right before Jacob posted the pushing picture, and I just kept saying it until I fell asleep. Maybe if I had started about 12 hours eariler, he would have been born sooner:)Bring him back to Georgia to see us soon! God bless you all, and welcome to the club!

Congratulations! You did a fantastic job - and he is simply beautiful!!
I had to give up your birth posts half way through as I went into labour myself! Never met you, only just started reading your blog last week, but still was thinking of you constantly throughout my labour!
Well done you guys - beautiful home birth!!
What a precious little man you have! I would like to kiss him all over! I was so glad when you posted the vital info (i.e. weight, length) I have to say when I first saw the pictures I saw Sonny's grandma Becky! I don't know why, but I did! Isn't it fun to hold him? Awww... the smell of a newborn... it's intoxicating!
Love to the new family!
Lynne

(P.S - I have been lurking for awhile and eagerly awaiting the birth... It was worth it!)

Anyways this has been fun keeping up with you blog becca and Jacob great job adding on to the blog while your wify is yelling in the background.
