The poor little guy slept solid from the moment we got home until four o’ clock this morning. Since then he’s only been awake for an hour so at a stretch. I definitely plan on spending the day in bed with him just kind of chilling out and helping my little man recover. I’ve got some good bed activities to keep myself busy, including our Christmas letter to compose, and a photo album to make. I’ll probably throw some stuff in the crock-pot for this evening, and I’m letting the dust bunny’s collect. *Sigh* It is really nice after everything to take a chance to recuperate myself. I feel exhausted. I know Smoochy does too. And the poor guy has to go back into work today. That daddy sure does love us!
Once again, thank you so much for checking in on all of us and making sure we’re doing okay! Knowing that you folks are out there pulling for us has been comforting. Thankfully this has been a comparatively uncomplicated, minimally painful, and mostly noninvasive procedure. My heart goes out to all the parents whose children can’t be as easily made all-better. We truly have been blessed.

Glad to hear everything is OK. He may be uncomfortable once the gas starts to dissipate so don't worry if he's a bit fussy for a few days - it hurts! We love you guys!

I'm so glad that all went well. That's quite a bit to happen to such a young guy! You must be totally exhuasted as well. Staying in bed sounds like a good idea to me.

I'm so glad his bowel was okay and he didn't have to suffer through having a damaged section removed. Poor Normy!
It must have been terrifying for you to watcht he little boy go through all of that.
Oh, what good news. I was praying for you. I'm glad you have a chance to rest and recover.
My first baby had an MRI when she was six weeks old, and they had to put her under with chloral hydrate. It was all very scary, and she turned out to be fine, but I remember that she slept through the night for the first time that night.
Little Normy must have been even more exhausted than you. And at this point my husband would probably say something like, "too bad we can't drug them every night." I hope you all get some rest.
Poor baby! I was prayin' for ya Tuesday. Well, mostly for Normy, but you know what I mean. Glad to hear he is doing okay. He looks so peaceful! I'm sure he needed the sleep after all that!
glad to hear everything went well - we were (are!) thinking of you guys! get some rest and heal well, Normy :D
