Thank God for drug companies that are wise enough to make medicines and antibiotics that taste like candy so that nearly-two year olds will consume them without an argument. With child-proof caps of course! The kids and I are sick again. Nasty colds that have morphed into earaches for the little ones. According to the doctor, Norm's is especially bad. Arg. Yesterday he had a temperature over 101! I'm at a loss because I feel like he has been sick SO OFTEN this past winter. I know it is because of his novice immune system and our social life... but man this has been rough. He was just sick when Georgie was born, and you all remember THIS picture from his illness just a couple weeks prior. (You really don't want to follow that link.)
Well, there are going to be some changes made over here at the Smoochy house. We are going on an immunity crusade. Starting with eliminating refined sugars and hydrogenated oils from our diets whenever possible. I've also ordered these two books that come highly recommended as wonderful guides to a healthy family. Look out germs. This means war! (As soon as I feel better.)
In the mean time I'm going to go snuggle my kids and read books and watch TV with them.

I remember what you went through with milk when Normy was much younger, but just remember milk is a mucus producing monster.

I didn't feel right until Wed. and Uncle Tyler got the fun Mon., missing two days of school and work. I can't believe you've caught another sickness. Take care lots of sleep and fluids. Feel better soon.

Man...kids and colds! I feel like we're ALWAYS sick around here too. At least me...they get it once and I usually get it twice. Once from each of them! Yay!!
Let me know how that diet works out for you guys...we may need to try it!
