However, instead of seeing adorable pictures of my kids in their costumes, this is all you get. I carelessly left my camera on top of the dining room table within Normy's reach. When I saw him playing with it I calmly approached him to retrieve it. He hollered "No!" and flung it fully opened across the room and into a wall. I'm so upset I can't see straight. It is utterly broken. The following are the last pictures ever recorded with that particular Cannon.

Happy Halloween, I hope you get lots of candy.
I'm going to go cry now.

Oh no! That's heartbreaking.
Once, when we were getting ready for a trip, I had all the stuff for the carryon laid out on the bar, right above the sink.
I don't know WHAT posessed him, but Diminutive One decided to "wash" the camera. I came downstairs to find it floating in the sink, completely waterlogged.
We took it apart and let all the components dry out, hoping it might work, but it was no use.
I'm so sorry. I feel your pain, truly.
I hope you can borrow a camera so that we do have pictures of the Halloween costumes to view another day!
So sorry! I totally know what you mean about being so mad. For me, it's the fact that they did something they KNEW they weren't allowed to do, and THAT'S why the thing is broken/ruined. I have had a few days this week full of such maddening behavior. (Is blood pressure SUPPOSED to go up when you're a mommy?) I'm sad for you :( I can totally see my 2 yr old doing the exact same thing these days!
I'm sorry Honey! I know exactly what that is like... try sending it directly to the Cannon Manufacturer. That should be the cheapest route to getting it fixed. I had a similar experience with Mikey unfortunately. Love you and miss you! Hopefully we can catch up soon...
OK, that is a nightmare.
NORM!!!!!!!!!
~sigh~ Kids. they will never know the crap they put us through. So sorry!!!
BUMMER!
Gosh Becca, I feel you. Lukie is in the horrible throwing phase. He especially likes to chuck things at the t.v. and entertainment center. I hope it'll stop before we get something valuable broken as well. WEll, you get a new camera:) I heard the new Sony Cybershot (I think that's it) is a great camera. I have a few friends that have bought it.
