My good friend J. hosted a lovely Easter play date, complete with egg hunt. It was a girls-only affair (With the exception of Liam who's only 5 months old) and a wonderful time was had by all.
Later that day.

We visited KS for Easter where the kids started a rock band with Grandpa and Grandma. Grandpa is actually quite the bongo player.

Of course, we decorated eggs.

Normy gave them a personality of there own.

This was two weeks ago... I am bigger now. Crazy, I know. Ladies in the locker room at the gym have started asking when I am due. When I tell them I still have six weeks to go most are surprised. Ha!

There is so much yard work to be done. If Smoochy is home, he is out in the forest.

Thanks to the amazing generosity of Grandma Allen who came and babysat and my darling husband who decided I could tag along on his business trip, I got to stay here for 3 days and four nights WITHOUT my children! (The bare bushes in front are hazelnut bushes!)

It was heaven. I took time to smell the flowers.

I took leisurely walks through the country.

I read books for pleasure in pleasurable places.

I watched the sunrise with cups of steaming hot gourmet coffee.

The only needs I attended to were my own.
It was fantastic. I missed my kids by the third day.

When we returned home the yard work resumed.

Smoochy is getting seriously buff from all the heavy lifting. Of course, he's modest about it.

At least we don't have any grass to mow.

Yes! New pictures!
I am so happy that Lola has her head down. She is getting ready to meet us!
Yay! I check every day for a new post - too bad I read them too fast! Love from your old friend, Julie Fleischhacker (remember me?!) :)
Love the pics! Your belly is beautiful! (Chili was just telling me she wanted to see it again, and that Lola was getting big.) Your kids look like they are having fun, and your retreat looks so relaxing.
Aw and Ah!! I'm glad you were able to enjoy your time by yourself and with Jacob :) I love those moments (and of course, can't wait to get home to the kids). I LOVE your belly. BTW, didn't realize Normy's hair goes down in the front now.
More pictures, please!
