The Dust is Settling

My absolute favorite moment of the day came as I was moving clothes from the washer to the drier. Suddenly I heard Georgia squealing with delight and giggling hysterically. I peaked around the corner to see her dancing in a ray of setting sunlight trying in vain to catch a hold of the dust motes being kicked up by her prancing. When she saw me watching her she demanded, "Mommy what are these!?" Well, right then they were magic.

You captured that perfectly....MAGIC! (When some of us Mom's would launch into the issues of dust...ahem.)

What a lovely lovely story!

Thanks Claudine. Yes, in the case dust was our friend!

Great post! I love how you used your words. I would go one step further and say 'fairy dust'! Hope you are feeling better.

SO awesome. The last time I heard delighted squealing and someone saying "Mama what ARE these?!" it turned out Graham had found a box of feminine hygiene products.

An all too familiar story in our house too! :-) I tried sucking them up in the vacuum the other day, lol, dust always wins gal-dangit!
